about

White-Line Fever is a progressive folk rock/post rock band that is based in Cork City. Their debut EP Anomie, released in December 2014, showcases the band’s propensity towards sonic experimentation and extravagant song structure. The band “hit the nail on the head” according to Skyrockit Music and have been nominated for "Best Irish Act" and "Best EP" in this year's Pure M Awards as well as receiving a 10/10 review from U&I magazine. The group is currently writing another EP that is sure to exhibit a core of hypnotic guitar lines, concentrated vocal melodies and an expressive rhythm section that takes the band’s folk sound a step further. Track Name: Sirens In The Distance
Why?
Why?
Take your place between the breaking walls,
Sirens in the distance calling no one seems to care for them at all.
Hide among the blades of overgrown grass,
Sirens in the distance shouting no one seems to hear them as they gasp.
Why chase the cats when you prefer dogs?,
Sirens in the distance spinning no one seems to see them in the fog.
Why sing amid the stars far from the earth?,
Sirens in the distance growing soon you'll have to button up your shirt,
Sirens in the distance growing soon you'll have to button up your shirt.
Track Name: I See Icy Figures
Do you hear the blue ice blossoming,
Do you fear the taste that green fires bring,
Wait on.

Do you cheer the final calling,
Do you feed the mouth of ill-timing,
Wait on.
